guarding nallavadu .......



Nallavadu, a small coastal village on the shores of pondicherry. A small patch of degraded sacred grove still survives with the intervention of community participation. Tropical Dry Evergreen Forest species are planted by the communities and are maintained, enriching the coastal biodiversity. Palm trees and the terracota motiffs are guarding the fisherfolks . . .
